Blueprint – Terms & Conditions

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase of goods from Blueprint. Please read them carefully, as they outline your rights, our responsibilities, and important limitations.

1. Your Consumer Rights

You have rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and, for New Zealand customers, the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) that cannot be excluded. Nothing in these Terms limits these rights.

2. Our Liability to You

To the maximum extent permitted by law (including under the ACL and CGA):

  • We exclude all implied terms and warranties not expressly included in these Terms.

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

  • We are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to products once delivered to you or to an Authority To Leave (ATL) location.

  • We are not liable for fraudulent credit/debit card use unless caused by our acts or omissions.

  • Where we are liable, our responsibility is:

    • reduced to the extent that your acts or omissions contributed to the loss; and

    • limited to the total amount paid for the product(s) giving rise to the claim (unless the loss was caused by our acts or omissions).

3. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The Terms applicable at the time you place your order will apply to that order.

4. Variations

You may not change these Terms without our written approval. Updates to these Terms take effect when published on our website and do not apply to previously placed orders. If anything is unclear, please contact us.

5. Your Order

Once your order and payment are submitted, you will receive an email confirming we have received your order request.
This does not guarantee product availability. Your order is accepted only once we dispatch your product(s).

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order at any time for reasons including—but not limited to—pricing errors, stock availability, incorrect information, payment issues, fraud concerns, excessive return activity, customisation issues, or other factors outlined in these Terms.
If your order is cancelled, you may choose a full refund or a store credit.

6. Prices, Payment & GST

All prices shown are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST for Australian customers and NZ GST for New Zealand customers.
Your payment provider may apply currency conversion fees.

For NZ Customers

  • Final charges may vary depending on your payment provider’s exchange rate.

  • Orders over NZ$1000 may incur duties/customs fees, which will be included at checkout.

  • Refunds may also be subject to your payment provider’s fees.

7. Promotions & Offers

Details for current promotions, including shipping discounts, are available in our Promotional Terms & Conditions.

8. Payment Security

We use secure third-party payment processors.

  • We do not store full card details.

  • Payment processors handle your information under their own policies.

  • We may request identity verification to prevent fraud.

  • Orders may be cancelled if fraud is suspected.

9. Delivery

Delivery Fees

Shipping cost is calculated based on size, weight, quantity, fulfilment location, and destination.
Changes to delivery details after checkout may incur additional fees.

Dispatch Times

Most orders dispatch within 5–10 business days unless otherwise stated (e.g., made-to-order items).
Dispatch may be delayed for reasons outside our control.

Delivery Methods

We use national carriers and specialised couriers as required.

  • Delivery is to the ground floor only unless specialist delivery is arranged.

  • We cannot deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers.

  • Some products may only be deliverable to metro areas.

Authority to Leave (ATL)

If you select ATL, risk transfers once the parcel is left at your nominated safe location.

Delivery Failures

If incorrect address details delay or prevent delivery, you may be charged re-delivery fees.
If delivery fails after 21 days or two attempts, we may cancel the order and refund minus shipping and handling fees.

Risk & Title

Risk and ownership transfer once the goods are delivered to you or your ATL location.

10. Our Products

We aim for accurate descriptions and images, but variations may occur—especially with handmade or natural materials.
Colours may appear differently on different screens and are not considered faults.

Products may be withdrawn or updated at any time, but changes do not affect orders already placed.

We may use technologies, including AI, to improve website content and customer experience.

11. Returns

Change-of-Mind Returns

If you change your mind, you may return your item within 30 days of receiving it, unless excluded.
You are responsible for all delivery, return, and handling costs.

Returned items must be:

  • unused

  • unassembled

  • undamaged

  • in original packaging

  • in “as-new” condition

Not eligible for change-of-mind returns:

  • Made-to-order products

  • Mattresses or bedding

  • Clearance items

  • Personalised items

  • Seasonal items

  • Gift cards

  • Commercial-use items

  • Items installed or assembled by Canvas & Cabinet Co or our contractors

Store credits are valid for 12 months.

Purchase Protection (Optional Add-On)

If selected at checkout, you receive:

  • Refund flexibility (refund to original payment or 110% store credit)

  • Extended 100-day return window

  • Faster replacements (“Rapid Re-order”)

We may refuse claims where the terms are not met.

Wrong Product Delivered

If we send the wrong item, notify us within 3 days and we will replace it at no cost.

Faulty or Damaged Goods

Report faults or damage as soon as possible, ideally within 3 days, with supporting photos or video.

12. Your Rights Under ACL & CGA

You are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund for major failures, and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss.
These rights cannot be excluded.

CGA does not apply to goods purchased for commercial use.

13. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Except where consumer law requires otherwise, we are not liable for:

  • indirect or consequential loss

  • loss of profit, data, goodwill, or opportunities

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product unless caused by our acts or omissions.

14. Cancellations

You may cancel an order before it enters dispatch processing.
Once processing begins, cancellations are at our discretion.
Made-to-order items cannot be cancelled.

15. Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges. Please follow the Returns process and place a new order.

16. Our Rights

We may refuse a return if we cannot verify purchase or if damage falls outside our responsibility.

17. Warranties

Certain products may include specific warranties, which will be stated on the product page.

Manufacturer warranties may also apply.

18. Gift Cards

Gift cards:

  • are delivered digitally

  • expire after 3 years

  • cannot be exchanged for cash

  • should be treated like cash (lost cards cannot be replaced)

Refunds for orders purchased using a gift card will be issued as store credit.

19. Conduct

Blueprint reserves the right to refuse service, block website access, or terminate communication if a customer behaves in a manner deemed abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate.

20. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

21. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, shipping disruptions, system failures, or third-party service outages.

22. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

23. Relationship

These Terms do not create any partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship.

24. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining Terms remain in full effect.
